Log Sheets

You will need to add a log sheet before you can enter log entries. Think of a log sheet as a page in your ‘driver work diary’.

Navigation Bar

Tap   to add a new log sheet. Read table row section below if you want to edit an existing log sheet.

Table Row

Has a row for each log sheet with total works hours (W), total rest hours (R) and total long/night hours (LN) for the day.

Tap on the row to show all log entries for the log sheet day.

Tap and hold on a log sheet to bring up up a menu to either edit or delete the select log sheet.

If a particular row has an icon similar to on the one above on the left side this means that you have committed a breach on this particular day.

You will need to tap on this row to go to a list of log entries for the day to find out which one/s have a breach.

Tab Bar

The Tab Bar on the bottom allows you go directly to view other information available to you.

Tap on  to show you how many hours you have driven for day/week/month, when your next rest is due and to find out when you can drive next and for how long you can drive.

Tap on  to view list of trucks you often drive. The driver’s list and user information is also available if you go to vehicles tab and then tap on ‘driver list’.

Add/Edit a Log Sheet

To add a log sheet you will need to enter at least the date and your base state (for calculating timezone) for the log sheet. Other information is optional but does show when Logbook Checker draws the log sheet for you.

Toolbar

The title will either show View/Edit Logsheet if you are editing or viewing a log sheet already entered or Add Logsheet if you are adding a new log sheet.

Tap   if you do not want to save changes to a log sheet already entered or cancel adding a new log sheet. It will not delete this log sheet – if you want to delete a log sheet go back to the list and hold down on the log sheet you want to delete.

Tap  if you have finished entering/changing information to save changes and close this entry screen.
